I’m Faye Wood, an abstract-realist painter currently working from Sydney’s Eastern Beaches.
You’ll notice influences of pop art, abstract-expressionism, and neo-expressionism in my work.
Boldly & unapologetically stepping into one's power has been, and remains, my most compelling (and challenging) journey, and this energy runs like a vein throughout my entire body of work - from my figurative and portraiture pieces, to my purely non-objective abstracts, which flow forth into existence, even when I'm "decidedly not painting an abstract today”.
